Give back to your community with USS & RSVP!
USS sponsors the AmeriCorps Seniors Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Clark and Madison Counties to provide various volunteer opportunities to adults in our community. Based upon qualifications, we offer two different routes for volunteering in our community.
“Giving back is important to me. Through USS, I have a wide range of volunteer opportunities that use my skills and teach me new ones.”
Volunteering with USS
USS has a wide variety of engaging volunteer opportunities for adults at our centers. Volunteers assist with special events and projects, bingo, income tax assistance, the welcome desk, the café hostess station, and so much more. Opportunities are matched to a volunteer’s skills and interests.
Volunteering with RSVP
In addition, USS offers opportunities for service and enrichment through RSVP full of a wide variety of impactful volunteer opportunities for those age 55 and better. RSVP helps seniors find volunteer opportunities with non-profits, faith-based organizations, proprietary health providers, and other community agencies in Clark and Madison Counties.
USS Volunteer Handbook will be available for download soon.

If you would like to discuss volunteer opportunities or turn in your application(s), call the Volunteer Department at (937) 324-5705 to make an appointment.
RSVP is sponsored by USS, and is funded through federal funds from AmeriCorps Seniors, by a state subsidy through Ohio Department of Aging, and by local matching funds in Clark and Madison Counties.

RSVP volunteer programs are available to all older adults 55 years of age and older.
Reasonable accommodations will be provided to allow persons with disabilities to participate in programs and activities.
